We have plank on bulkhead models, carved solid hull models, some have laser cut parts, some have etched brass, etc. Some of our kits are only appropriate for the most expert of builders, while others would be a great introduction to modeling for a first-timer.

The rank of Ensign represents the foundational gateway into the commissioned officer corps of a modern navy. Typically serving as the entry-level grade—equivalent to a Second Lieutenant in the Army or Air Force—the Ensign is a junior officer who bears significant responsibility while still in the process of learning the nuances of naval command. Often characterized by a “one-stripe” gold insignia on their uniform, Ensigns are typically fresh out of the Naval Academy, Officer Candidate School, or NROTC programs.
