Building Entry level kits is a fascinating and rewarding hobby that allows individuals to recreate historical vessels in miniature form. It is a hobby that has been enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds for centuries. The process of building a model ship requires patience, attention to detail, and a passion for history. It begins with selecting a specific ship to build, whether it be a famous warship, a merchant vessel, or a leisure boat. Next, one must gather all the necessary materials, which typically include a model kit, glue, paint, and various tools such as a hobby knife, sandpaper, and tweezers.
Bluejacket offers many Entry level kits. We have plank on bulkhead models, carved solid hull models, some have laser cut parts, some have etched brass, etc. Some of our kits are only appropriate for the most expert of builders, while others would be a great introduction to modeling for a first-timer.
